POSITION: LTS Supervisor of Special Education

LOCATION: District-Wide

START DATE: Approximately May 29, 2024 - October 31, 2024

SALARY: Commensurate with Experience

The Upper Dublin School District, located in Montgomery County, is currently seeking highly-qualified candidates for the position of Supervisor of Special Education.  The successful candidate will have proven experience and competence in leading equity work to ensure the success of ALL students. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience necessary to provide strategic leadership to implement special education mandates, provide direction for department responsibilities and provide fiscally responsible curriculum and instructional leadership at the level assigned. 

The Supervisor of Special Education will work collaboratively to fulfill Upper Dublin’s vision of empowering all students through excellence in education and will report to the Director of Student Services.

Education and Experience:

• PA Certification as Supervisor of Special Education.
• Master’s Degree in a related Special Education field preferred.
• Successful experience with programs dealing with students with disabilities
• Must possess knowledge of state and federal regulations governing assigned special education  functional areas
• Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication and research, and to enhance small and large student group
• Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with teachers, administrators, parents, students, support staff, and outside professional contacts.
